There still isn’t much accurate information online about the Wynwood Hills Unhinged cigar. I’ve been looking for accurate reviews that reflect the correct wrapper on this perfectly priced cigar for what the Unhinged and its Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper can deliver.
You should be able to find these anywhere from $6.50 – $8.00. I found mine at Sellwood Cigar in Portland, Oregon.
The Unhinged cigar by Wynwood Hills hits all my checkboxes of flavors, chewy leather, cocoa and earthy tobacco all the way through. For the price, I didn’t expect many transitions and I’m OK with that.
This is 5-pack worthy all day long.
I received some welcomed and accurate information from Jeff Martinez at Sellwood Cigar about the wrapper on this Unhinged Cigar and the Deranged Cigar I had yesterday. The published information on the Internet is widely inaccurate. The wrappers should have flopped on these two, the Wynwood Hills Unhinged wrapper is Connecticut Broadleaf and the Wynwood Hills Deranged wrapper is the Ecuadoran Sumatra. Thus my comment about the wrapper yesterday “…the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper looks lighter in color than most Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers I’m used to.”
My Cigar-Mind is at ease now and I’ve determined at least for this morning that I might have some sanity left.
A straight-cut and clip and my senses receive sweet Maduro cocoa and tobacco. Once lit, my first puff delivered!
Big chewy smoke, leather, cocoa, and earthy flavors; I’m in my sweet spot already. I’m rejoicing in spite of the accurate cigar specs that I received from Sellwood Cigar, this cigar rocks and it’s perfectly priced too.
I have nothing but good thoughts about this cigar. I could finish by saying that this cigar could be The Tabernacle’s little sister.
I’ll be looking for a 5-pack of these soon.
