Wynwood Hills Deranged

No Wonder
Correction: I just found out that the wrapper information on the Wynwood Hills Deranged Cigar should be Ecuadoran Sumatra. The wrapper on the Wynwood Hills Unhinged should be Connecticut Broadleaf.

The Wynwood Hills Deranged cigar is definitely a different cigar than their Mayhem cigar. Not only are the tobacco components different, but the appearance and the feel as I hold it. It has soft spots in the middle and a firm cap end (last third), and the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper looks lighter in color than most Connecticut Broadleaf wrappers I’m used to.

My cold draw didn’t pick up much and once lit, mild-medium earthy smoke became abundant. There wasn’t that much spice on the retrohale but I can tell it might be on the way.

Deep earth flavors accompanied me to the last third.

I enjoyed the consistent flavors it gave up to the last third… no transitions to speak of. This is still, a cloud of enjoyable smoke with a lasting finish with a mild spice on the retrohale. I think this is a good cigar for the price.

Last, this is the fastest Robusto I’ve smoked in a while and I’m a slowish smoker, time 45 minutes.

Stay Chill
Stay Smoky
