COVID-19 Day 509
It’s been over a year since I smoked this Undercrown Sun Grown Corona by Drew Estate Cigars last… it’s time to get reacquainted!
Once lit, smooth natural tobacco flavors with no particular discernible flavors come forward at this early beginning but there was a healthy pepper spice on the retrohale.
About 30 minutes in… she gets warmed up and now I’m detecting malty chocolate, leather, and black pepper through a perfect smoky draw. The pepper spice on the retrohale lets me know it’s definitely there.
At about the halfway point, woody black pepper tobacco flavors become dominant and coat my tongue… the retrohale is keeping me company with its healthy spice kick.
I’m at the last third and this corona is getting hot, so it’s time to call an end to this experience today.
Smoke time 1 hour 15 minutes.

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 150: 2.0-Mile Cigar
I’m finding it hard to believe that I’ve largely ignored this Undercrown Sun Grown by Drew Estate. I thought I had maybe smoked some of the other Vitolas but I have no record of it or notes to state otherwise.
Anyway, to make a long story short, this morning’s Cigar Walk with the Sun Grown Undercrown was something I’d like again, so I’ll be searching to purchase more of these in this Vitola (Corona) as well as some larger sizes.
