Today was my First Time with this long seven-inch x 50-Gauge Undercrown 10 Year Anniversary in Corona Doble by Drew Estate Cigars. I’ve smoked the Corona and Robusto Vitolas prior, so I was really looking forward to luxuriating with this fine specimen today.
I can already guess that what comes next will be full-flavored, rich, and spicy… and it was!
Through a perfect draw delivering copious amounts of smoke that only a Drew Estate cigar can create, come tobacco flavors of dark rich coffee, Mexican hot chocolate, and black pepper tobacco flavors. The retrohale was a fitting and peppery representation of this Undercrown 10 Year Anniversary.
For the remainder of this 7-inch-long smoking journey with this Undercrown 10 Year Anniversary in Corona Doble lots of tobacco flavors came and went and came again… I was detecting some hickory flavors along with earthy leather, more dark cocoa, and some Maduro sweetness… this is an evolving cigar and I’m diggin’ it!
This Undercrown 10 Year Anniversary in Corona Doble would be a perfect long smoke in front of a fire or for watching sports.
