This was my second Todos Las Dias by Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust cigar. I just read my notes from October and I take back EVERYTHING I may have muttered under my breath. I must have been in a weird headspace or I picked up a bad cigar (not likely).
This is a Full-Strength Powerhouse: Not for Beginners
I have to admit that after I smoked my first Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust Todos Las Dias I wasn’t too impressed with a very open airy draw and soft wrapper that didn’t agree with my first time mouth-feel experience with this cigar.
Today’s a new day and so far the open draw isn’t an issue with the pepper spice on the retrohale and I’m enjoying its long lasting finish. Liga flavors make me smile.
The spicy smoke if singeing my nostrils as I type. There’s definitely some spice building and on the way.
Overall, I decided that I love this cigar. What I noticed in this full-flavored and full-strength cigar is that it didn’t have to say HERE I AM, I’M STRONG! Instead this provided full-flavor and strength from the start that kept building as you smoked. Never too harsh; definitely a smooth and powerful ride.
I’m in; there needs to be more of these in my TupperDor for when the mood strikes
This was my first try at this Steve Saka cigar to see what all the fuss was about. I have another stick waiting for me while I ponder what I just smoked…
This reminded me of the smoking experience I just had recently with the Epifania Toro by El Primer Mundo. A soft dry paper feeling on my lips as I take and finish the draw leaving the taste of graham crackers, coffee, and cocoa nearby.
Can’t wait to try it again soon.
