The Tiger Kitty Soft Paws by Cigar Federation and Black Label Trading Company (BLK WKS) is a firmly packed and beautifully smooth looking cigar.
I was trying to identify flavors of the cold draw, but the correct words are not coming to me this morning… maybe some sort of sweet bread with a creamy finish.
Once lit, I got an immediate pepper spice on the retrohale. I’m at the start of the second third after about 30-minutes and I have also suspended my usual retrohale. This cigar is singing my nostrils.
I’m at the last third and I have an ash that doesn’t want to be knocked off… the flavors are all still there bundled up in a smooth smoky package of creamy nuts, coffee, bread and the ever-present zing of the pepper spice riding on my retrohales.
This is a more complex Connecticut than most I’ve had, except for those I’ve smoked lately like the Room 101 Farce Connecticut that I think is outstanding for a Connecticut and you might want to try the Balmoral Anjeo XO Connecticut if you’re looking for a Connecticut cigar with flavor.
