Esteli and Jalapa Valley Nicaragua, Foundation Cigar, Foundation Cigars, Havana Seed CT No. 142, Jamastran Valley Honduras, Robusto, San Andreas Mexico, The Tabernacle Truth be told… I had such an exceptional experience with the Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No.142 Goliath by Foundation Cigars the other day that I had to smoke this version (Vitola) of the blend (The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 Robusto) to vet some eye-opening “Wow Moments” that I had with the Perfecto Beast.

After a cut and a light… I’m describing this Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 smoking experience as a creamy malty dark chocolate pudding with a dark roasted coffee bean finish.

All my draws (puffs) have been perfect delivering very satisfying chewy smoke. I should mention that I’ve been experimenting with a Punch-Cut lately with some excellent results… stay tuned on that.

As I approach the last third, I’ve come to the conclusion that the Vitola definitely makes a huge difference. Don’t get me wrong, I love this blend and this cigar in particular… super smooth, with complex tobacco flavors though transition that makes this smoking journey a joy to participate in; but the difference between this and the Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No.142 Goliath is that the Goliath Vitola has an extra something-something that makes me go “Wow”.

Anyway, I can’t wait to smoke both of these again.

Esteli and Jalapa Valley Nicaragua, Foundation Cigar, Foundation Cigars, Havana Seed CT No. 142, Jamastran Valley Honduras, San Andreas Mexico, The Tabernacle I can’t believe that it’s been almost a year since I’ve smoked The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 by Foundation Cigar.

This cigar is another truly great cigar smoking experience with this rich blend of a specially developed Connecticut Havana Seed #142 wrapper from the “Connecticut” master blender Nick Melillo.

I think it’s time to purchase some more of these fantastic cigars!

Today’s Havana seed cold draw of faint barnyard and cedar and not much more that I could detect.

Once lit powerful dry smoke and pepper spice on the retrohale from earthy flavors at the start.

Cedar, leather, and pepper are taking me home.

Truth be told, this is great cigar, but for some reason it’s not resonating with me. I still prefer the “OG” The Tabernacle. We’ll see what happens. I still have a handful of these in the TupperDor.

Ok, it’s been 9-days since; these too early to smoke puppies have been resting since I received them from Ralph Sumo (12.11.18), so I’m going to fire one up today.

This is a good cigar, but it’s right off the truck I’m afraid. Too early to smoke.
