COVID-19 Day 751
Through a perfectly open draw, black pepper tobacco flavors come to me… not exactly as I remember it… there’s an earthy leather component too that I was hoping would show up. ,,, Wait a minute, after reviewing my notes from my “inaugural” experience below, I’m pretty consistent with my cigar tasting notes…
At the second third earthy coffee, leather, and maybe a touch of dark chocolate join the party… the retrohale is a solid black pepper spice.
And, so she goes… a very enjoyable smoking experience with this Tatuaje Cojonu 2012 Capa Especial (Sumatra) by Tatuaje Cigars.
Yes, I can’t wait to smoke it again!

COVID-19 Day 574
By way of Isaac Miller aka @The_Nothing_ from “The Stash Smoke Shop” in Milwaukie, Oregon I was able to “Score” a few of these Tatuaje Cojonu 2012 Sumatra cigars by Tatuaje Cigars. Today was my inaugural experience sparking this Tatuaje Cojonu 2012 Sumatra. I’ve been advised that these have been incubating on the shelf at The Stash Smoke Shop since 2018!
After a cut and a light… through a perfect draw earthy black pepper, and leather comes to me right away with a decent retrohale to match.
Entering the second third, the pepper has backed off a little allowing more of the creamy chewy smoke attributes to come through of soft leather and mocha tobacco flavors… The retrohale still packs some pepper spice though and I’m diggin’ it!
Until next time…
