COVID-19 Day 900:
Through a perfect draw come creamy smooth smoke delivering slightly sweet cedar notes and black pepper with a retrohale of the same…. And we’re off to a nice start with this Southern Draw Cedrus Toro by Southern Draw Cigars
I’m approaching the halfway point and thoroughly enjoying this cigar… its creamy smoothness has picked up a couple of friendly tobacco flavors on this leg of the journey… more cedar of the earthy kind, some hints of coffee and sweet leather, and black pepper that continues to be the core of this smoke. The retrohale reflects the leather and black pepper tobacco flavors.
At the last third, the draw was getting a little sluggish so I decided to give this a snip with the straight cutter, and lo and behold … new life! Rich deep smoke was pouring deliciously delivering ramped-up tobacco flavors fore mentioned. The retrohale is now full-on sassy black pepper with a kick to the sinuses. This is a good way to end this cigar.
Bottom Line… this Southern Draw Cedrus surprised me and performed and delivered beyond my expectations… and Yes, I’d smoke it again!
