COVID-19 Day 496:
I haven’t smoked too many of these Sin Compromiso Cigars by Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Cigar Company… I know they’re delicious, but also expensive… So, today I was purposefully intent on being “Present” for this smoking experience, and I’m glad I did.
I did a little reading on what it took blender Steve Saka to process his tobacco in special ways that I don’t think we’ll see on other cigar blends… at least none that I’m aware of… I now have a greater appreciation for these Sin Compromiso cigars and the work that went into making them… More than Hype!
Once lit, though an exquisite draw, I’m pulling sophisticated slightly charred tobacco flavors of earthy creamy coffee, cocoa, and vanilla with a very soft retrohale of leather. This Sin Compromiso is living up to its reputation quickly!
At the halfway point, I’m enjoying dark roasted coffee and cedar wood tobacco flavors that have joined along with the existing earthy cocoa and leather tobacco flavors… This cigar is a tasty medium-bodied cigar… a surprise from just looking at this dark beast you might imagine that it would deliver something with more punch… I’m not complaining, this is an exquisitely sophisticated cigar that I would smoke again and again… especially for those celebratory moments in life!
