The San Pedro de Macorís is so good!
I’ve smoked several of these in the Perla Vitola (Petite Corona); this is my first time with the Robusto. This is a $6 Dollar premium cigar.
Right off the bat through a draw that offered a little resistance but not too much, leather tobacco flavors with a touch of vanilla came to me with a retrohale that gave up some cocoa and vanilla.
Halfway through and the retrohale has decided to offer up some mild spice. Coffee, leather and slightly sweet vanilla keep me company while I puff away.
At the final third, the flavors ramp up a bit with the retrohale remaining the same through a now perfect draw with a razor sharp burn needing no touch ups
This is very tasty, very tasty indeed.
As soon as I get my cigar-allowance, I’m purchasing a box of the San Pedro de Macorís Brazil probably in different Vitolas too to suit any mood or time that I have.
