San Cristobal Revelation Legend (BP Toro) by Ashton Cigars

I’ve been looking for something new to try so I acquired a few San Cristobal Revelation cigars to also further explore some Ecuadorian Sumatra wrappers. Along with what I’ve read, this one seemed to have some promise… and I expect it will deliver… eventually

Operator Error
My hopes were high, but I think I need to condition my Revelation cigars a little more. The immediate pepper blast and dusty cocoa greeted me, but I was having challenges keeping this cigar lit.

I’ll revisit this in another month or so and see what evolves. In the meantime…

“The San Cristobal (cris-TOE-bull) Revelation is the new full-line from Ashton. Like the other San Cristobal lines, it is made by Don Pepín Garcia at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper that comes from the same growers that produce VSG wrappers sitting over Nicaraguan binder and filer.” –
