COVID-19 Day 566:
From this well aged cigar dominant cedar tobacco flavors come forth through a perfect draw with just the correct amount of resistance. The retrohale is a dull pepper sensation at this moment…
As I approach the second third, I’m discovering the smooth quality of this cigar smoke. It’s not creamy but smooth and pleasant probably due to the time the tobacco has aged.
This is supposed to be blended for the Modern American palate and thus “Immediate” consumption… This is definitely a more nuanced smoking experience… What I would expect from a Cuban cigar.
After one burn correction, the burn was even the rest of the way. This cigar will definitely reward those who sip on this and not chug it down to get the most of the subtle nuanced tobacco flavors.
At the last third, to tell you the truth, I started to get bored with this blend as there weren’t many transitions that I could appreciate.
As I don’t normally smoke many Cubans, I am thankful for this gift!
