COVID-19 Day 814
The Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 in Torpedo BP (Seconds) by Rocky Patel Cigars is a fine and dandy cigar even if it is from bundle of “Seconds”. This is a dang tasty and sophisticated cigar; maybe too much so for my Cigar-Walks, but that’s where I’m going to smoke these dandies!
I was thoroughly impressed with the performance of this Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 on today’s Cigar-Walk. An almost flawless performance is attributed to this cigar’s excellent construction needing no touch-ups… exquisite!
At this point in my cigar smoking experience, I’m not that adept at picking out tobacco flavors when I’m outside walking, but today I was able to detect some dark coffee and chocolate flavors delivered on copious amounts of smoke. I could get used to these and smoke them more often…
Until next time…

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 727: 3.25-Mile Cigar
A dandy Cigar-Walk was had with this Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapped Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 (Seconds) in Torpedo BP.
It needed a few touch-ups, but overall, I could detect those Sumatra tobacco flavors trying to come through…
This proved to be a worthy morning cigar.
Until next time…

COVID-19 Day 672:
I declared in December (2021) that this year I’d make an effort to explore and try more Sumatra Wrapped Cigars. As I’ve been asking around to various folks whose palate I trust, I’ve noticed that several Rocky Patel blends came into the conversation… not so much as an affirmation that they were outstanding, but that Rocky Patel uses this Sumatra Wrapper in many of his cigars… That should account for something don’t you think?
Moving on with my First-Time with this Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 in Torpedo BP (Seconds) by Rocky Patel Cigars. I found this on CigarBid.com for a decent price, so I thought I’d start with this one.
Once it thru a decent draw earthy dark coffee… OK
At the halfway point black pepper joins the party riding on copious amounts of easy smoke… The retrohale is a hefty representation of the black pepper spice now.
At the last third, this is starting to deliver the flavors I was hoping for. At about 1.75 hours I’m putting this inaugural experience down now that I know it can deliver… I have to get on to something else.
