COVID-19 Day 882
I swear that I’ve smoked this Prensado Lost Art in Gran Toro by Alec Bradley Cigars at least a couple of times before today, but any record of it have disappeared except for a couple of old photos from a few years ago (2019). Let’s see what she says…
After I punched a hole at the cap end (I’ve been punching my cigars lately after having too many mishaps with tearing wrappers and cap ends becoming unraveled) I received a cold draw of soothing milk chocolate. A good start in my book!
Once lit, through a slightly snug draw this Prensado Lost Art delivered earthy tobacco flavors of cedar, subtle black pepper, cocoa, and a bit of leather on the finish. The retrohale is a mild black pepper and some leather.
Coming into the second third… I was hoping the draw would open up a bit on this firmly pack cigar… I persevere… I welcomed tobacco flavors of earthy black pepper and dark cocoa as they arrived with an increased black pepper spice on the retrohale.
Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with this Prensado Lost Art and I’ll certainly be smoking it again… hopefully, I won’t wait so long.
Until next time…
