COVID-19 Day 578
As I eased my way into this first time experience with this Pichardo Maduro in Toro by A.C.E. Prime Cigars, I detected earthy woody oak, with black pepper tobacco flavors through a perfect draw and a decent black pepper spice to go along with it on the retrohale. I can’t say anything stood out right away, but I’m willing to wait and see what develops.
As I’m approaching the second third, coffee tobacco flavors join the party with a chalky leather finish and a punchier black pepper spice on the retrohale this time around.
Into the last third, I didn’t really detect any transitions that interested me… I started to get those almond paste tobacco flavors that usually signal the end of a cigar for me. Maybe I was tugging on it too much as I was trying to discern more tobacco flavors than I detected. The retrohale ramped up more so… A zippy pepper spice would end this cigar.
I have another one resting, so I’ll take it out in a few months or so to see if anything more comes from this Pichardo Maduro in Toro by A.C.E. Prime Cigars.
