Pichardo Clasico Sumatra Toro by A.C.E. Prime Cigars

COVID-19 Day 871
A.C.E. Prime Cigars, Ecuadorian Sumatra, Nicaragua, Pichardo Classico, Sumatra, Toro Through a perfect draw offering the perfect amount of resistance, come earthy natural tobacco flavors of cedar, bready wood, and black pepper. The retrohale was a continuation of black pepper spice and leather.

At the halfway point, I determine that this isn’t going to evolve into what I was hoping for on this second time smoking this cigar. Instead of those “Other” tobacco flavors, I was presented with more of the same from the first third along with the addition of some almond paste flavors that provided a slightly pleasant sweetness into the mix. The retrohale remained the same offering gentle black pepper spice and leather.

At the final third, this cigar is starting to get mushy making way for some bitter tobacco flavors that are coating my tongue. I think it’s time to put this one down for the count.

Although this Pichardo Clasico Sumatra was an excellent cigar in almost every way, it didn’t quite hit my sought-after tobacco flavors from an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. I don’t know if I would spend another $9.00- $10.00 on another one, but I sure wouldn’t refuse one either.

COVID-19 Day 722:
A.C.E. Prime Cigars, Ecuadorian Sumatra, Nicaragua, Pichardo Classico, Sumatra, Toro I’ve been waiting to get my hands on this A.C.E. Prime Cigars blend in the Pichardo Clasico in Toro… they finally arrived in Portland, Oregon. Now for my first time with this Pichardo Classico Sumatra (Ecuadorian).

Once lit, through a perfect draw with the correct amount of resistance come smooth chewy smoke of leather with a bit of honey sweetness on the finish. The retrohale has a nice warm black pepper zing along with some leather to smooth it out… this suits my just fine and dandy for my inaugural experience smoking this Pichardo Clasico Toro by A.C.E. Prime Cigars.

So far so Good!
I can’t wait until the next time…
