Partagas Heritage G.S.E. Robusto

First Third:
The initial flavors of the Partagas Heritage G.S.E. Robusto are rich and earthy, with notes of leather, wood, and spice. The draw is smooth and easy, producing a satisfying amount of smoke with each puff. There is a subtle sweetness to the smoke that adds to the overall complexity of the flavor profile. On the retrohale, there is a pleasant hint of black pepper that lingers on the palate.

I don’t know what it is about this blend, maybe it’s the Honduran Olancho San Agustin Valley wrapper that reminds me of those leather tobacco flavors I love from Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper, but I’m digging this cigar!

Second Third:
As the cigar progresses into the second third, the flavors become more pronounced and intense, with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and roasted nuts. The smoke is still smooth and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweetness and spice. The retrohale becomes more pronounced at this point, with a stronger hit of black pepper and a subtle note of cinnamon.

Final Third:
In the final third, the flavors become even more intense, with a deep, rich taste and a hint of earthy sweetness. The smoke is still smooth and velvety, with a long, satisfying finish. The retrohale is still spicy, with notes of black pepper and cinnamon that linger on the palate.

Overall, the Partagas Heritage G.S.E. Robusto is a fantastic smoke that is both flavorful and complex. The transitions between the different thirds are seamless, with each stage of the smoke building on the previous one to create a rich and satisfying flavor profile. The retrohale adds an extra dimension to the smoking experience, with just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting. Highly recommended for any serious cigar aficionado.

COVID-19 Day 801
Dominican Republic, General Cigar Dominicana, Honduran Olancho San Agustin Valley, Partagas Cigars, Partagas Heritage Robusto, Partagas Heritage G.S.E. Robusto, Partagas Heritage G.S.E. Oh me, oh my… I may be on to something… maybe another entry for the regular Cigar Rotation.

Today was my First-Time with this Vitola (Robusto) Partagas Heritage G.S.E. in Robusto by Partagas Cigars.

Once lit, the first puffs clued me in right away with earthy rich tobacco flavors riding on leather with a slight sweetness and pepper spice. The retrohale provides soft leather and white pepper flavors.

I’m digging this new addition to the TupperDor! I can’t wait to smoke it again. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say this was a spitting’n image of it’s Cuban Cousin the Partagas Serie D No. 4 Habano.
