COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 523: 2.0-Mile Cigar
Today was my first time with this Oliva Gilberto Reserva Blanc by Oliva Cigar Company that has been resting since 2019 (two years).
Once lit on this morning’s Cigar Walk, this Oliva Gilberto Reserva Blanc started out with a creamy smooth smoke just fine and dandy giving me hope that this “Budget-Cigar” would deliver.
But, about a mile into my trek, the Gilberto Reserva Blanc started to get mushy requiring some double puffs to produce any satisfying smoke… I had to keep reminding myself that this was a Budget-Cigar, so I had to keep my expectations in check…
I wonder if smoking this outside had anything to do with its performance… I don’t think I’ll be pursuing these, but if it were offered to me, I’d smoke it… especially if I were inside.
