First time with any Nub cigar today. I’ve always been curious as to the Nub’s signature “Brand” size of their unusually small or squat cigars.
According to Cigar Aficionado, “… Just the sweet spot. That was the tagline for the NUb concept when it first came out. It claimed that the cigar needed no time to warm up or develop, but was able to localize the most flavorful portion of a cigar and keep the smoker there from the first draw to the last….”
Well, after smoking this 66 gauge cigar, a first for me, I think this cigar will be warmly remembered for its decent qualities of which there might be many, this cigar just wasn’t my style. Fortunately, the tapered cap of the Torpedo made it easier to consume this little gem.
I just picked up some other samples today from an Oliva Cigar event, so stay tuned
