New World Connecticut Corona

A.J. Fernandez, Connecticut Shade U.S.A., Mexican San Andres, New World Connecticut, NicaraguaThis was my second time with the New World Connecticut in Corona. I just discovered that I had these in my TupperDor while looking for another A.J. Fernandez cigar.

Once lit, the smoke pours freely with a dry subtle black pepper flavor with a manageable retrohale.

At the second third, cedar flavors enter the picture through a perfect draw with just the correct amount of resistance. All the flavors have bumped up a bit from the first third… this cigar is smoking faster than I’m used to since my return from convalescing a broken foot.

At the last third, I’m not overly impressed, but I have to remember that I don’t think this was intended to be a “Premium” cigar; more like a budget stick, but its still a respectable cigar. This is perfect this morning as the first cigar of the day or if you were limited for time… a good “beginner” cigar.

I have a couple more of these; now that I know they’re in the TupperDor. I might pay more attention next time.
