COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 84: 2.25-Mile Cigar
Aganorsa Leaf New Cuba Corojo, Casa Fernández, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Corojo, Robusto Awhile ago, I came up with a self-imposed Cigar Rotation policy where I would try to smoke the same cigar only once a month because there are so many more cigars that I wanted to try and experience. At long last, the opportunity came and I jumped at it to pair this Aganorsa Leaf New Cuba Corojo with another “Budget” (Affordable) Cigar to help complete a morning Cigar Walk of at least 6-Miles.

The “OG” #CigarWalk Cigar

As I’ve claimed many times before, this is probably the Bang for Your Buck in the Cigar Market! How can you go wrong with the buttery smooth Aganorsa Corojo tobacco?!

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 52: 2.75-Mile Cigar
I saw a break in the wet weather early this morning so I grabbed a New Cuba Corojo by Aganorsa Leaf and headed out the door. This New Cuba Corojo by Aganorsa Leaf made a perfect companion for a 2.75-Mile Cigar-Walk.

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 6: 2.75-Mile Cigar

Aganorsa Leaf New Cuba Corojo, Casa Fernández, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Corojo Well, for the purposes of keeping everything in context, this is the 6th day of Oregon’s Stay in Place directive from the Governor. That said, the New Cuba Corojo by Aganorsa Leaf is the first cigar I’ve smoked in the past few days because all of the Cigar Lounges and Public Places are off-limits; and, it’s been raining here in Portland, Oregon.

Those that know me know that I’m an early riser as in 0:Dark:00 early. So when I didn’t hear any rain falling outside I exclaimed my excitement and chose the New Cuba Corojo as my inaugural cigar since the Executive Order to Stay-at-Home.

The #CigarWalk is born

So, not hearing the pitter-patter of the rain, I bundled up and headed outside for what turned out to be a 40-minute walk around my sleeping neighborhood smoking a cigar that no one could chastise me for smoking. It was kind of a surreal experience walking the streets under the streetlights while everyone was still asleep at 04:00a. I did, however, discover my new workout place at the school up the street. The empty parking lot would make a perfect spot to do my footwork and cardio (HIIT) training… I’m hoping no one will kick me off since I’m going to guess that I’ll be the only one there utilizing the space… we’ll see.

The one thing I did notice about this “outdoors” smoking experience; the time it took me to smoke the New Cuba Corojo to the nub was about 40 minutes. A new recent record since I’ve been sharing with the Fellas that my new relaxed smoking time had increased to about 90 minutes for a Robusto and up to 2 – 3 hours for anything larger.

I also noticed that I wasn’t able to detect the usual tobacco flavors that I normally am able to do when I’m in a “controlled” indoor environment as is usual. So stay tuned as I hope to discover new ways to enjoy this Cigar Hobby under the new rules of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aganorsa Leaf New Cuba Corojo, Casa Fernández, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Corojo This morning I headed over to Sellwood Cigar to hang out with the Fellas because Jeff Martinez was agreeable to open the Cigar Shop up early today in honor of this Black Friday after the Day of Thanks.

The one thing I like about this “Affordable” cigar is that I don’t have to really pay too much attention to it; it’s a perfect cigar when you’re having conversations about the table or “Waling the Dog”.

There were many moments while smoking New Cuba Corojo by Aganorsa Leaf that I caught a mouthful of flavor that cause me to pause and collect myself and enjoy the “Wow” of the moment.

I’m loving this cigar thanks to All Class BOTL Ryan Pultz for turning me onto this awesome find.

Aganorsa Leaf New Cuba Corojo, Casa Fernández, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan CorojoAfter a snip and a cut, I fired up my New Cuba cigar by Aganorsa Leaf; earthy tobacco flavors that I usually seek are plentiful through a perfect draw with a slight pepper spice on the retrohale

The flavors are pretty consistent all the way to the last third, the only difference is that the pepper has ramped up a bit on the retrohale… this is keeping my interest… Hmmm for the price, I just might have to invest in these dandy cigars.

After all, it’s made by Aganorsa Leaf Cigars… how can these dandy Corojo packed cigars be a bad choice?!
