COVID-19 Day 481
Don Pepin Garcia, Miami Cigar and Company, Nestor Miranda, Nestor Miranda Special Selection, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Habano, Toro There are a lot of reasons that I enjoy this cigar and two of those are what tobacco is in the Binder and Filler of this Nestor Miranda Special Selection Toro by Nestor Miranda Cigar (Miami Cigar & Company). When I see or hear “Nicaraguan” Criollo ’98 or tobaccos from Condega, Jalapa, or Esteli, I have a pretty good idea of where they’re coming from and I’m a huge fan!

Once sparked, espresso tobacco flavors glide into action with a slight sweetness that isn’t a distraction from the earthy notes this cigar delivers… there’s a decent black pepper on the retrohale as well.

Smoking toward the midpoint of this Nestor Miranda Special Selection, the dominant tobacco flavors are mostly earth dark roasted coffee with maybe some nutty flavors, definitely some cedar on this finish with a respectable retrohale of black pepper to go along for the ride.

I’m lovin’ this Nestor Miranda Special Selection… the construction is spot on and it feels great in my hand as I smoke it… I can’t complain. This isn’t an overly complex cigar, but it satisfies nonetheless!

COVID-19 Day 450:
Don Pepin Garcia, Miami Cigar and Company, Nestor Miranda, Nestor Miranda Special Selection, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Habano, Toro I’m relatively new to the Nestor Miranda Special Selection cigars by Miami Cigar & Company and I’ve have been amazed every time I choose to blaze one of these!

Right at the first light, I’m transported with medium-bodied and creamy smoke that delivers a comforting array of rich tobacco flavors that earmark a great way to start the day… I’m reveling at how wonderful this Nestor Miranda Special Selection is. I almost feel like I should be saving these for “Special Occasions” … But, these are actually quite affordable if you purchase them correctly.

Anyway, as I’m puffing away, earthy tobacco flavors with a touch of cedar are prominent with some leather in the background setting up a smooth retrohale with a little white pepper kick.

Needless to say, I think these are an outstanding cigar and definitely Box Worthy!

From the first couple of puffs on this morning trek, I welcomed the smooth creamy earthy toastiness of the first perfect draws that was to continue for the remainder of this 3.0-Mile cigar.

Today was my second time smoking this beauty and the first time taking it out for a Cigar Walk… I can’t wait to smoke this Nestor Miranda Special Selection again. I think it has a chance in the Regular Cigar Rotation!

COVID-19 Day 128:
Don Pepin Garcia, Miami Cigar and Company, Nestor Miranda, Nestor Miranda Special Selection, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Habano, Toro Today’s Finger-Burner at Sellwood Cigar with the Nestor Miranda Special Selection in Toro by Nestor Miranda Cigars… I’m a new fan… and they’re priced correctly too!

My First Puffs from the Nestor Miranda Special Selection were easy and smooth (all the way down to the Nub) with a tad bit of resistance that provided satisfactory smoke output needing no double puffs… that delivered the anticipated Don Pepin pepper spice, and coffee tobacco flavors with a smooth nutty finish…

I’m on the lookout for more of these tasty cigars… I should have known better… with contributions from Don Pepin Garcia and rolled at the My Father Cigar Factory, how can this be an undesirable cigar?!

More Please!
