Muestra de Saka Exclusivo by Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust

I remember way back in July when I purchased my first “Coffin” of the Muestra de Saka Exclusivo from Sellwood Cigar. Boy, was this a “special” stick.

Well, I fired it up finally and I have to admit that I was a little perplexed at first; that is until I realized that this wasn’t going to be the powerhouse of flavor and strength that I was expecting… Nope.

Instead, it was almost mellow, but that’s the wrong word; it was a “Smooth-Ride”, a smoke of sophisticated dry cedar wood and cherry. At first, I couldn’t put my finger on the sweetness I was tasting until last night when I was reminiscing…

Yeah Cherry, that’s a first for me. This was a very enjoyable smoke if this is what you’re looking for. It took me a while, but I think I finally got it. It’s not a cheap stick, so for me, this will be for some very special occasions.
