Morphine in Lancero by Black Label Trading Company (Barber Pole)

02/18/2022
COVID-19 Day 698

Through an open and easy draw, I receive light wispy smoke of this Morphine in Lancero by Black Label Trading Company (Barber Pole) that delivers a punch of black pepper tobacco flavors and dark roasted coffee notes… the retrohale also packs a punch of black pepper spice that will wake you up.

I had high hopes that this Lancero Vitola would show me the way of these Black Label Trading Company cigars. Before today I had experienced pretty much one-dimensional tobacco flavors from previous tries.

Overall… the tobacco flavors became slightly bitter and a little sour… not in a terrible way, but as you might describe a balanced profile in a dish you might be cooking… after all, aren’t most good entrees made up of a balance of Salt, Sweet, Fat, Acid, and Spice?

This was pretty much a black pepper experience most of the way… I have one Morphine Cigars in Corona left unsmoked, so maybe I’ll get a different experience next time.
