The Mi Amor Reserva Maximo (Robusto BP) by La Aroma De Cuba Cigars is one of my fav go-to tasty cigars I keep stocked in the TupperDor.
One lit, the Mi Amor Reserva, the initial draw reveals the richness of its Mexican Cuban-Seed Oscuro wrapper. The wrapper shows off a dark chocolate appearance, hinting at the indulgent flavors to come. The first few puffs greet the palate with a touch of Maduro sweetness, accompanied by notes of earthy dark chocolate, espresso, and the Garcia pepper flavors abound. The Nicaraguan binder and filler provide a solid foundation for the flavor profile, adding a touch of earthiness and complexity. On the retrohale, the spice becomes more pronounced, enhancing the overall experience.
Moving into the second third, the Mi Amor Reserva continues to evolve and surprise with its flavor transitions. The sweetness mellows slightly, making room for a more pronounced earthiness and hints of leather. The cocoa notes persist, adding depth and richness to the profile. The Nicaraguan tobacco in the filler shines through, delivering a medium to full-bodied experience that is both satisfying and nuanced. Retrohaling intensifies the spice, providing an extra kick and amplifying the complexity of the smoke.
As we approach the final third of the Mi Amor Reserva, the flavors deepen and harmonize to deliver a memorable conclusion. The earthiness becomes more prominent, complemented by lingering cocoa and subtle hints of espresso. The strength of the cigar gradually builds, reaching a medium to full-bodied intensity. The Nicaraguan filler continues to showcase its quality, ensuring a consistent and enjoyable smoking experience until the last draw. Retrohaling brings forth a robust and satisfying blast of spice, adding a delightful kick to the final moments of the smoke.
In summary, the Mi Amor Reserva is a captivating cigar that showcases the richness of its Mexican Cuban-Seed Oscuro wrapper. The transitions from the first to the second third reveal a balanced interplay of sweetness, earthiness, and cocoa notes. The final third brings a deeper, more robust profile with pronounced earthy flavors and hints of espresso. Throughout the journey, the Nicaraguan binder and filler contribute to the cigar’s complexity and strength. Retrohaling accentuates the spice, providing an additional layer of excitement.
For enthusiasts seeking a well-rounded and flavorful smoke, the Mi Amor Reserva is a delightful choice. Its captivating appearance, rich flavors, and seamless transitions make it a standout cigar in its category. Indulge in the pleasure of this cigar, savor the depth of its flavors, and let the Mi Amor Reserva transport you to a world of indulgence and enjoyment.

COVID-19 Day 860
I had to smoke this Mi Amor Reserva Maximo (Robusto BP) by La Aroma De Cuba Cigars again after smoking it a couple of weeks ago outside. I had to vet my recent declaration that smoking indoors makes a huge difference when detecting tobacco flavors, especially those with more nuanced flavor profiles.
And, today’s Mi Amor Reserva Maximo (Robusto BP) by La Aroma De Cuba Cigars pretty much proved my point.
At the start, the cold draw provided those familiar chocolate flavors that transcended once the Mi Amor Reserva was lit sending my chewy smoke of those same dark rich chocolate tobacco flavors… Mmmm good!
I was very happy the rest of the way…
Until next time…

COVID-19 Day 823
The one lesson learned in the Summer of 2022… when I smoke outdoors, the nuances of the tobacco flavors tend to escape me.
My theory is that due to the outdoor conditions, the aromatic smoke is making it more difficult for my olfactory senses to kick in to help me discern what’s hitting my palate.
I won’t go so far as to say that this was a waste, but I’ll be choosing other cigars to smoke outdoors from now on.

Well, according to BOTL A.J. Costa aka @MrAJCosta “I Have Arrived”!
I mentioned to the Fellas that I had NEVER been able to smoke a cigar (Mi Amor Reserva Maximo [Robusto BP] by La Aroma De Cuba Cigars) in a moving auto as a Passenger (NOT Driving) before… First Time!
I was reminded at the time, that I was also being Chaffered in a Luxury-Auto via this Luxury-Lexus driven by @MrAJCosta!
A truly new and unique experience for me today as I got to relax and enjoy the scenery as a “Passenger” for a change… Lovin’ it!

COVID-19 Day 390
I haven’t smoked the Mi Amor Reserva Maximo (Robusto) by La Aroma De Cuba Cigars since last March. I remember the WOW-Factor in this Mexican Cuban-Seed Oscuro wrapped gem… I need to smoke this more often, this is a beautiful cigar… thru and thru!
The cold draw brings massive earthy-sweet chocolate and leather tobacco flavors creating the urgency to spark this now… Give me more!
Once lit, sweet-earthy chocolate, leather, and soft black pepper some to me with a decent black pepper spice on the retrohale. The construction was outstanding needing only a couple of touch-up because I wasn’t paying attention.
I’m on the lookout to purchase more of these excellent Mi Amor Reservas by La Aroma De Cuba Cigars!

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 99: 3.0-Mile Cigar
More and more, I’m growing to appreciate as I discover some of these older “Classic” cigar brands… especially the La Aroma De Cuba cigars rolled at the My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua.
The first time I smoked one of these Mi Amor Reservas, I was at a cigar lounge where I was able to sit focus and detect some of the subtle nuances in the tobacco flavors that made my eyes go “Wow”… this is an interesting cigar!
And, just like that, I became a fan of the La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor Reserva along with the “OG” La Aroma De Cuba Original Blend (New Blend). I’m thinking this will be Box-Worthy

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 29: 3.0-Mile Cigar
It was a frosty 34°F (1.1°C) for today’s early morning Cigar-Walk, but this one was easy and fairly flat walking for a safe and Slow Recovery
Today’s tasty Cigar-Walk was with the La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor Reserva Maximo Maduro in Robusto by way of Jeff Martinez aka @CigarWrapper at @SellwoodCigar. As it turns out, this is a perfect Three-Mile Cigar right down to the last step… this is a Finger Burner
The La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor Reserva Maximo Maduro is growing on me fast and for good reason… it’s a dang good cigar! … Box Worthy?
