COVID-19 Day 835
A.J. Fernandez, AJ Fernandez, Ecuadorian, Ecuadorian Habano Ligero, Man O War, Nicaragua, Robusto, Ruination This Ecuadorian Habano Ligero wrapped Ruination delivered just as I was hoping for…. Full on flavor

Cocoa and dark coffee starts my journey today… this specimen has been hanging around in the TupperDor for a while now, so it was a pretty smooth and creamy-mellow ride…

Dark coffee and cocoa kept me company for the rest of the journey, so I didn’t want it to end… I had to be careful not to tug on this too much or it would’ve probably gotten too hot and harsh

My patience was rewarded the rest of the way with deliciousness.

I can’t wait to smoke this again!

Sending me home today was this Cigar-Rotation favorite in the “Man O War Ruination”, Robusto No.1 by A.J. Fernandez Cigars. I can’t believe that I haven’t smoked since last November (2020)…

A perfect cigar for the conversation in the cigar lounge today!

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 90: 2.0-Mile Cigar
A.J. Fernandez, AJ Fernandez, Ecuadorian, Ecuadorian Habano Ligero, Man O War, Nicaragua, Robusto, Ruination It’s another chilly morning for today’s Cigar Walk, so I think I’ll have to choose something Big, Bold, and Flavor-Packed… I think this Man O War Ruination by A.J. Fernandez Cigars will excel this morning.

After bundling up in layers of warm clothing, I had created the perfect method to start the weekend with a Cigar Walk and this firmly packed Man O’ War Ruination by A.J. Fernandez Cigars. It took me a full 2-Miles to get warmed up on this cold 22°F (-5.6°C) morning trek. It’s a good thing I had some hills planned for this workout to keep the blood flowing.

I soon discovered that this cigar is a slow burner and I’m perfectly fine with that; I just have to add some more mileage to my trek this morning. I first realized this after a mile into my journey having only smoked about an inch of this slow-burning Man O War Ruination. What flowed from this cigar were the tobacco flavors that I was hoping for from memory… Coffee, Cocoa, and Earthy Creamy Leather… I’m in the “Zone”

I’m down to my last couple of Ruinations, so it’s time to gather some more.

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 40: 2.25-Mile Cigar
A.J. Fernandez, Ecuadorian, Ecuadorian Habano Ligero, Man O War, Nicaragua, Robusto, Ruination This morning I realized that I hadn’t smoked the Man O War Ruination by A.J. Fernandez in a few months and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect as I needed something substantial for my Cigar Walk today.

The Man O War Ruination was a welcomed full-flavored companion but it only lasted for 2.25 miles… Maybe I’m puffing on these more often when I’m walking because I have them in my hand and not resting on an ashtray…

Noticing how regularly I’ve been smoking this cigar for the past few months might indicate how much I enjoy and look forward to the Man O War Ruination by A.J. Fernandez.

This cigar delivers pretty much everything that I’ve been seeking in a cigar lately… Deep rich tobacco flavors of earthy coffee, cocoa, leather through a perfect draw that offers the correct amount of resistance.

The Man O War Ruination by A.J. Fernandez is a keeper in my Cigar Rotation.

If I have some quiet time today during the College Basketball playoffs, I’ll fire this up for my final judgment (whether it makes it to the Sakamoto TupperDor or not).

The first time I smoked this was a little over a month ago (09/01/2018) and I’ve been wanting to try my second one for a while now.

I didn’t get to singularly focus on this cigar due to conversations at my table, but I was reassured by this smoking experience that it still had those flavors that are in my “Wheel-House”.

I’ll be blazing this again hopefully soon.
