COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 776: 3.0-Mile Cigar
I can’t tell you how great it was to get outside and get some miles in this morning’s Cigar-Walk with this delicious and perfect performer in this Magic Toast in Robusto by Alec Bradley Cigars.
I definitely felt like I got away with something this morning… it’s been so wet and rainy here in Portland, Oregon the past few weeks in May, it’s kind of depressing.
And… I just may have clear or cloudy skies tomorrow morning too!
What a treat to be able to spend some time with this Magic Toast in Robusto by Alec Bradley Cigars!
Until next time…
COVID-19 Day 626
This Medium to Full Strength Magic Toast Robusto by Alec Bradley Cigars had its way with me and left me wondering if I had eaten Breakfast… for some reason, I couldn’t remember… maybe this Alec Bradley treat got the better of me.
This is a dark, leathery-looking cigar that delivers!
Once lit, creamy, earthy tobacco flavors of dark coffee, cocoa, something slightly sweet with a decent black pepper finish. This Magic Toast delivers as soon as I puff on it… “Wow”!
At the second third, I am overjoyed at my choice this morning as I now detect some black cherry flavors that go well with the dark coffee and chocolate tobacco flavors that I’ve been luxuriating in.
Well, it was getting late and I was getting anxious about traffic so I had to put an end to this delicious cigar as I started the last third of this Magic Toast cigar. My smoking time with this to this point was two-hours, so I’m thinking I had at least another 30 minutes to go with this gem.
Oh well, Until next time…
COVID-19 Day 584
I’m getting reconnected with this delicious (I don’t care what anybody else says…) Alec Bradley Magic Toast in Robusto by Alec Bradley Cigars. This oily Honduran wrapped beauty has never let me down!
What’s special about today is that I get to smoke this inside and really pay attention to the nuances and transitions of the tasty cigar.
Once lit, through a perfect draw… earthy natural tobacco flavors of chocolate, dark coffee, and leather make their presence known right away… with hints of cedar and a retrohale of white pepper spice.
It’s no secret… I love this cigar… especially when I’m craving something deep and delicious on my morning Cigar-Walks.
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 500: 3.0-Mile Cigar
Well, this morning’s Cigar Walk started out just fine and dandy with this Magic Toast in Robusto by Alec Bradley Cigars until… I had to chop off about a mile’s worth of tobacco off the top because of a tight wad of tobacco near the cap.
Maybe I needed to rest this a little longer!
But that didn’t stop me from enjoying what I could eke out of this Magic Toast in Robusto of earthy dark coffee, vanilla, and chocolate tobacco flavors.
I can’t wait to spark this again with hopefully a decent draw next time, or at least I’ll be prepared with a poker or something to open up any tobacco blockages.
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 412: 4.0-Mile Cigar
I almost feel guilty when I take these Magic Toast cigars by Alec Bradley out on my morning Cigar Walks… they’re just so delicious with tons of chewy smoke to deliver those awesome dark rich tobacco flavors… a perfect walking companion!
I will welcome the company of this earthy leather cigar any day, any time!
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 49: 4.0-Mile Cigar
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 49: 3.5-Mile Cigar
I think this was my third time with the Magic Toast in Robusto by Alec Bradley. Every experience improves upon the previous… I think this might a cigar for the regular #CigarRotaion
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 49: 3.5-Mile Cigar
This morning’s cigar to bring me home from my Cigar-Walk was the Magic Toast in Robusto by Alec Bradley. This darker than night jet black Honduran wrapper came firmly pack with tobacco that delivered full rich tobacco flavors that dominated the morning air with its smoke.
This will be my fourth Magic Toast cigar and I think I’m ready to commit these to my regular Cigar Rotation. I’m thinking these are Box Worthy.
I don’t care what anyone else says, I’m diggin’ this $6.00 – $7.00 cigar… if it can be had for the correct price. I paid $9.45 for the last two that I purchased and that’s about $3.00 too much.
If you can find these for a decent price, I think they’re well worth the investment of money and time you’ll spend enjoying these oily, deep rich Honduran tobacco flavors from this hefty cigar.
The Magic Toast Robusto by Alec Bradley is a hefty firmly packed oily wrapped cigar that once lit brought me a mouthful of enjoyable black pepper.
After about a half-inch I took another snip with my Perfect Cuter as I was struggling a bit with the draw of this snuggly packed cigar… it worked. Dark deep rich earthy coffee, cocoa and leather are all there with a respectable retrohale. The initial black pepper flavor has tamed down a bit allowing for the other “choice” flavors to come to the front…. I’m happy.
Coming into the second third and the smoke is pouring out voluminous clouds of smoke with each puff now that it has had a chance to warm up. The tobacco flavors start to hit all my checkboxes of flavors that I typically look for in a cigar, creamy dark coffee and leather with a surprisingly sweet finish on my lips.
Trouble ahead: I’m at the last third and the draw was getting a little tough to deal with again so I soon discovered a mushy cigar… I wonder if this is affecting the draw?
I was still enjoying the deep rich flavors this cigar offers, but I was struggling too much to really sit back and enjoy this cigar. I’m hoping a few months of rest will improve the Magic Toast Robusto by Alec Bradley that I have left to smoke… we’ll see
What a pleasant surprise today on my first day back after two months of convalescing when I was presented the Alec Bradley Magic Toast; a gift from Rian Walker.
As my second cigar of the day, I felt I was primed for this… and… Wow! Not what I expected.
From the Fellas at Cigar Dojo
“Honduran wrapper covers a double binder of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos; the fillers are also Honduran and Nicaraguan.”
My cold draw gave me dark rich soft barnyard and cocoa from this oily wrapper. Once lit… deep rich earthy tobacco and chewy smoke welcomed me. I made the correct decision to blaze this cigar.
At the first third along with the earthy flavors were rich molasses present to at least the halfway point with coffee and dark chocolate and there’s something fruity in the background too.
At the halfway point, the flavors ramp up with more coffee and earth with a nice peppery retrohale. As I smoke more the body increases and something woody and floral appears.
I’m diggin’ this cigar! It gave me more than I expected so, I’ll have to search for some more of these for the TupperDor.
