COVID-19 Day 762:
Thru an open draw that I’ll rename the “elegant” draw because I think this Liga Privada H99 Toro by Drew Estate Cigars is meant to be sipped and not powered through… just my thought.
Once lit, dry smoke delivers slightly salty minerally tasting tobacco flavors of black pepper and cedar with a nice black pepper on the retrohale. The white ash is hanging on for over an inch and is starting to make me nervous.
After almost 45 minutes, I’m just starting the second third that delivers earthy slightly sweet wood/cedar notes along with soft leather and dark coffee tobacco flavors. The retrohale is still a decent black pepper spice with some cayenne pepper flavors zipping thru.
The Liga Privada H99 by Drew Estate Cigars was a thoroughly enjoyable smoking experience full of complex subtle tobacco flavors that deserves another time with this perfectly constructed beauty. I’m lucky to have another one resting in the TupperDor for just such a time…
