Ecuadorian Sancti Spíritus, Jose “Pepin” García, L’Atelier LAT 52 Selection Spéciale, Lancero, My Father Cigar Factory, Pete Johnson, Robusto, Sancti Spíritus I swear, every time I smoke this L’Atelier LAT 52 (Robusto) by L’Atelier Imports, I fall in love with it all over again!

I did something different today; instead of clipping or punching the cap, I carefully twisted the little pigtail off and to my surprise was rewarded with a perfect draw from this beautiful cigar.

Once lit, subtle spices come wandering over my palette joined by some bready tobacco notes along with some leather. It was creamy smooth sailing the rest of the way as I enjoyed my new habit at the Cigar Lounge… watching my newly acquired streaming shows on my iPad. A perfect combination.

I can’t wait until the next time

Ecuadorian Sancti Spíritus, Jose “Pepin” García, L’Atelier LAT 52 Selection Spéciale, Lancero, My Father Cigar Factory, Pete Johnson, Robusto, Sancti Spíritus Smooth and Creamy… that’s what I appreciate most about the L’Atelier LAT 52 (Robusto) by L’Atelier Imports. This I attribute to the Sancti Spiritus tobacco a hybrid leaf of Criollo and Pelo de Oro (from Famous-Smoke, Cigar Advisor). Making way for a sweet and savory smoking experience.

Once lit, today’s specimen’s draw was a little snug, but only because I selfishly wanted more of its delicious smoke of earthy, woody, sweet tobacco flavors with a decent pepper finish on the retrohale.

Dark coffee and leather tobacco flavors join the party about halfway through and I’m in the “Zone”… this is usually where I space out and just enjoy the smoking experience of this L’Atelier LAT 52 that I think is destined for the regular Cigar-Rotation.

I can’t wait until the next time!

I think I’m falling in love with this L’Atelier LAT 52 (Robusto) by L’Atelier Imports! I think I was pretty excited about this cigar because it only took me an hour to smoke it! … Go figure!

The Ecuador Sancti Spiritus wrapper has me singing its praises. Once lit I received the satisfying tobacco flavors that I was anticipating… slightly floral notes that wrapped around some bread-like tobacco flavors… also some nuttiness and maybe some leather trying to come out… the retrohale is peppery but very approachable… I’m diggin’ this cigar.

I was struggling to put this nub of this LAT 52 down, but I know I have more in the box to smoke!

It did not disappoint me!

Rich natural tobacco flavors come to me immediately through a perfect draw (straight-cut) of dark chocolate and coffee notes on the finish.

The next hour and 30-minutes sailed by without me noticing it with this delicious L’Atelier LAT 52 (Robusto) by L’Atelier Imports. I can’t wait to smoke it again!

Ecuadorian Sancti Spíritus, Jose “Pepin” García, L’Atelier LAT 52 Selection Spéciale, Lancero, My Father Cigar Factory, Pete Johnson, Robusto, Sancti Spíritus I took a chance today because my patience got the better of me and I’m glad I did with this L’Atelier LAT 52 (Robusto) by L’Atelier Imports. By “chance” I mean, this box of LAT 52s just arrived at my doorstep… instead of waiting for my customary 10-days of resting, I decided that today was the perfect day to smoke one of these gems… and I’m glad I did!

If you weren’t aware, this L’Atelier LAT 52 is legendary having been created and blended by Pete Johnson of Tatuaje Cigar fame and handcrafted in Pepin’s My Father Cigar Factory in Nicaragua.

The special Ecuadorian Sancti Spiritus wrapper is a hybrid of Criollo and Pelo de Oro that delivers a rich depth of natural tobacco flavors to the forefront… complimented by dark chocolate and coffee notes on the finish. The aroma is very enjoyable, the draw and burn line with brilliant white ashes are excellent!

I can’t wait to smoke this again… soon!
