COVID-19 Day 499
I don’t know why I don’t choose these La Gloria Cubana cigars to smoke more often… I seem to say that after each time I smoke one of these that I purchased from a 90-rated sampler from Famous-Smoke about three years ago.
Truth be told, I choose this La Gloria Cubana Serie RF to honor the passing of my long-time Mixed Tennis Partner Gloria Ellingson who lost her 2-month battle with cancer a few days ago (Sunday, 07.25.21). I figured this would be a good pairing with her Sassy, Spicy, and doesn’t hold back and comes out strong!
Pepper and Spice and Everything Nice! … That is how I would describe this La Gloria Cubana Serie RF. At first glance, this is an impressively dark oily wrapped specimen that delivered upfront pepper spice and subtle sweet woody sometimes leathery tobacco flavors.
I would have thoroughly enjoyed this La Gloria Cubana Serie RF except the draw was snugly troublesome. I think I would enjoy this in the Robusto Vitola… I might have better luck with the draw on a shorter Vitola… Time will tell.
Stay Tuned
Stay Smoky
Stay Chill
