La Gloria Cubana Gilded Age Toro by La Gloria Cubana Cigars

COVID-19 Day 679
Ecuadorian Sumatra Oscuro, La Gloria Cubana Cigars, La Gloria Cubana Gilded Age, Robusto Well, I suppose it better to be optimistic rather than the other… Since I’m on a Sumatra Wrapper journey for the start of 2022 I was hoping that this La Gloria Cubana Gilded Age Toro by La Gloria Cubana Cigars that I’ve had at the bottom of the TupperDor might turn out to be a pleasant surprise…

It fell short, but at least I made an opportunity to not only give this La Gloria Cubana Gilded Age a try but also I’ve been lacking in my smoking experiences with the La Gloria Cubana brand.

Today’s experience although not what I was looking for nonetheless produced some noteworthy points… through a perfect draw delivering easy smoke that at first delivered dry natural tobacco flavors at the start and then… once it warmed up about an inch in… creamy cocoa and coffee flavors start to arrive with a decent peppery retrohale. A decent start…

Only that this cigar became a one-note wonder the rest of the way… this wasn’t a terrible cigar, but I doubt if I would smoke it again. There are others in the Brand that look more promising as I continue my Sumatra Wrapper journey.
