La Galera Imperial Jade by La Galera Cigars

06/15/2022
COVID-19 Day 814
Cameroon, Dominican Republic, José “Jochy” Blanco, La Galera, La Galera Imperial Jade, Toro Mouthfuls of dry smoke that delivered toasty woody tobacco flavors and black pepper. The retrohale zips by with a little white pepper spice.

The construction is impeccable making for a razor-sharp burn at this point needing no touch-ups that also provides an open draw delivering plenty of smoke.

At the halfway point I’m detecting some leather flavors… is this wishful thinking?

About an hour and a half later, I’m at the last third. This cigar is beautiful in almost every way except that it didn’t deliver those tobacco flavors that resonated with me… Not my jam so to speak.

I think I’ll retire this and move on to the next cigar…

Stay Smoky
Stay Chill
