I’ll admit that I probably didn’t give enough respect to my first La Aurora Preferidos Emerald Ecuador Corona that I smoked in my car. So, here we go.
My experimental punch-cut produced a cold draw that was definitely tasted like a chocolate bar that later made for a tasty perfect draw with ample smooth smoke with no pepper on the retrohale.
After the first third, I kept trying to find more of and waiting for the chocolate to show up almost missing the cedar/oak woody finish to this smooth start, let’s see what else developed; the pepper is trying to come through as it waifs into my nostrils as I type.
This is turning out to be milder than what I’ve been used to, but still very smooth. Hmmm, this might be a good cigar for a beginner. This is a classy cigar with complex flavors that probably won’t make your head spin from nicotine.
It’s easy to power through this easy smoking cigar; I probably should practice more discipline should it start to become harsh, there’s some pepper showing up now.
I don’t know if I’ll pursue this cigar, there are too many that remain to be smoked.
Stay Smokey
Stay Chill
