COVID-19 Day 317
Well, I’ll be… for a “First Time” experience smoking this La Aurora 107 Nicaragua in Toro by La Aurora Cigars, I’d say this was love at first puff! As usual with most “Love Affairs”, … I wasn’t expecting this!
Right away, creamy smooth smoke thru a perfect draw with just the correct amount of resistance delivering earthy tobacco and soft woody flavors with a black pepper retrohale that speaks to me.
Some chocolate sweetness appears in the background at the second third…the retrohale is getting tame and creamy… Strange
At the last third, an almond paste flavor appears as all the flavors collectively ramp up… The black pepper spice reappears in the retrohale… I’m happy about that.
Fortunately, I’ve got another specimen of this La Aurora 107 Nicaragua in Robusto resting in the TupperDor… I’m pretty sure I’ll be seeking more of these tasty cigars once I finish that gem in the Robusto.
