Jamais Vu by Ezra Zion Cigars

COVID-19 Day 517
Ezra Zion Cigars, Jamais Vu, Nicaraguan Corojo, Nicaraguan Medio Tiempo, Viso, Ligero I remembered this morning that I haven’t smoked this Jamais Vu by Ezra Zion Cigars in a long while (2019)… today is a good day to get reacquainted with this “Themed” cigar… especially since I have fond memories of her.

Though a perfect draw, the smoke pours out effortlessly… Smooth earthy espresso, milk chocolate tobacco flavors, and a leather taste that dominates and I’m OK with that…. along with a sold pepper flavor on the retrohale.

At the halfway point, leather tobacco flavors are keeping me company along with milk chocolate, mocha, and creamy toast… and I’m very happy about that. The retrohale gives the same soft leather flavors too.

I’m diggin’ this Jamais Vu by Ezra Zion Cigars… maybe I should explore this line further…?

CEzra Zion Cigars, Jamais Vu, Nicaraguan Corojo, Nicaraguan Medio Tiempo, Viso and Ligero The Jamais Vu by Ezra Zion is probably a great example of what a little curiosity, a mistaken cigar order, and research will do. Spurred on by a gift of the “All My Ex’s” by Ezra Zion and further research on the Jamais Vu by way of a mistake in one of my cigar orders from Cigar Federation who replaced an out-of-stock cigar with a couple of these.

When I first smoked the Jamais Vu back in August (2019), it was love at first puff.

Earthy toast and coffee greet me through a perfect creamy draw with black pepper flavors coating my tongue for a lasting finish and a nice little spice on the retrohale.

At the second third leather comes to the forefront of flavors and I’m just diggin’ this cigar again. The aroma off is coming to me as hot cocoa… the retrohale has mellowed a bit… #SoGood.

I’m at the last third and besides everything ramping up, the flavors are deep and rich with a respectable retrohale

I think I need to venture into more of what Ezra Zion has to offer. This cigar is a winner.

I’m looking forward to my second time with the Ezra Zion Jamais Vu today.

Today was my first time with the Ezra Zion Jamais Vu in the Gran Robusto size. This came to me by way of www.CigarFederation.com because of another cigar that they were out of that I had ordered… AND, not only did they replace it with this outstanding cigar, but TWO of them in two different vitolas, Gran Robusto (5.25 x 50) and Corona (6 x 46).

Wow right off the bat — Deep rich complex tobacco flavors… dark earthy black coffee from a perfect draw and a pepper spice on the retrohale that threatens to ramp up… we’ll see.

At the halfway point, I’m in the “Zone” totally being present and at the moment with this fabulous surprise for me today. I’m diggin’ this cigar!

Leather is starting to come through and the anticipated ramped up pepper spice didn’t show up on the retrohale and I’m fine with that.

I can’t wait to blasé the other Ezra Zion Jamais Vu and stay “present” with it… this is a complex cigar!
