COVID-19 Day 875
After a year, I got to smoke this “Aged” Mj12 in Toro Gordo by Illusione Cigars. What a treat!
Once lit, earthy dark coffee, dark cocoa powder, and black pepper with a nice smooth retrohale of black pepper come to me.
After an hour into it, I’m only at the halfway point. This beauty is still producing deep dark rich tobacco of the earthy kind with major dark baking chocolate to go along with the ride. The retrohale gives up black pepper.
At the last third… deep rich Maduro sweetened dark chocolate flavors come to the forefront with a nice black pepper finish on the retrohale.
This MJ12 was hard to put down… Until next time…
Smoke Time: 2.5 Hours
I got to sit down and luxuriate with this long-smoking Mj12 in Toro Gordo by Illusione Cigars today instead of taking it out for a walk.
I’m glad I had the opportunity… I’m in the “Zone” with this beast!
Creamy coffee and malty cocoa with a soft pepper retrohale… Oh, how I love this Mj12 in Toro Gordo by Illusione Cigars… one of the “Original Documents” from master blender Dion Giolito!
I can’t wait until the next time!
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 405: 4.5-Mile Cigar
A great 4.0-Mile Cigar Walk was had with this delicious “Original Documents” MJ12 by Illusione Cigars. A perfect burn needing no touchups right down to the Nub!… More Please!
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 255: 4.5-Mile Cigar
Well, it was a Magical Mystery Tour (Cigar Walk) with this Mj12 in Toro Gordo by Illusione Cigars following the inspiration of Mr. A.J. Costa aka @MrAJCosta today.
The weather was cooperating this morning although as I typed this, the temperature outside was a frosty 21°F (-6.1°C) Brrrr… So I knew I’d be at a rapid walking pace until I got warmed up for this 4.5-Mile Cigar Walk to make up for all the rained out treks last week.
It appears that 2020 is my year to fully embrace the Illusione Brand and the line of cigars that Dion Giolito offers. Hmmm, I also have become enamored with Aganorsa Leaf Tobacco and their offerings too… I wonder if that’s a coincidence… or I wonder if some “other-worldly” influences are in effect?
I’m a fan! I love these cigars!
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 168: 4.5-Mile Cigar
COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 45: 4.5-Mile Cigar
If I had my way, I’d be smoking an Illusione Mj12 every day! I love this cigar!
This firmly packed 6.0″ x 54 Toro was a beast of a cigar that lasted well into 4.5-Miles of my Cigar-Walk this morning. Everything about this experience was wonderful… perfect draw, nice feel in the hand while walking… and outstanding tobacco flavors that kept me company all the way. I knew I only had to bring this one cigar with me today.
I just purchased a few of these to have some in the TupperDor, but I think I better pursue a Box Purchase soon. These Illusione Mj12s are delicious!
What a marvelous cigar!
Today’s Illusione MJ12 cigar delivered creamy coffee and cocoa right from the first puff. After 20-minutes malt flavors join the party nearing the second third… #SakamotoHappy I think I’m down to my last two, so I better plan on restocking these soon.
As I’ve mentioned previously, this is a long smoke so be prepared to relax for a while and enjoy this. An hour and 20 minutes later (this is a slow and leisurely smoke) and I’m still luxuriating with this awesome cigar.
Now leave me alone.
What a treat it was smoking the Illusione MJ12 today.
It’s only fitting that I should smoke this again on the 2-month anniversary of my last time smoking the “Auspicious” Illusione MJ12. From my last notes, I can’t wait to blaze this again.
In a Word
This is a large cigar, so be prepared to spend some time with her. I had planned to do some reading while I got reacquainted with the Illusione MJ12 today.
I settled in comfortably for a two-hour smoke that eventually didn’t disappoint. It took a bit for the MJ12 to heat up (mid-first-thrid) before I started to welcome flavors that I can only describe as “Malty-Chocolate-Tea”, and I’m diggin’ it.
By the halfway point… Ahhh, everything came together wonderfully and I was happy as a kid with a chocolate bar because that is what this is starting to remind me of. I want more!
I found her again… next time I won’t wait so long to enjoy this cigar.
