COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 296: 3.0-Mile Cigar

07/01/2020
I’ve had these resting since February and today was the first time that I’ve had a chance to find a quiet spot at Sellwood Cigar (parking lot) to smoke this since the COVID-19 pandemic (Shelter-In-Place)… and I was excited about it! Finally!

In the quiet solitude of my Mobile Cigar Lounge, I was able to discern that this was different than most Illusione cigars that I’ve come to love and crave and not “different” in the way the Dion’s Maduro versions have been “different”… Instead of the usual well-rounded and smooth smoky and flavors, I got hit with upfront pepper tobacco flavors and tons of smoke that came upon me all at once.

After the initial “Wow” things started to get back to what I was used to from Illusione cigars… Garagiste in Toro by Illusione Cigars is a winner!

By the time smoked past the first third, the usual creamy smooth smoke and flavors came forth and kept me company for the next couple of hours through volumes of smoky goodness.

I have another resting in the TupperDor and I can’t wait to fire it up… maybe I should try the Robusto version too.

Stay Smoky
Stay Chill
