Today I smoked for the first time the Illusione Epernay 10th Anniversary d’Aosta (Toro) at Sellwood Cigar where I originally purchased this cigar.

I wasn’t able to sit and focus on the cigar as I usually do in my normal and more insular cigar-smoking environments because as usual, being at Sellwood Cigar is more about the Social Interaction than my normal insular activities and pursuits.

But I can share that as soon as I lit the Epernay 10th Anniversary, I knew it was going to be a splendid cigar and it was. It was worth every bit of the $12.00 I paid for it. And, it only made me want more… I especially wanted to compare this blend to the usual “Fantastic” blend of the other Illusione Epernays that I’ve smoked and have stocked in my TupperDor.

COVID-19 Be Damned

So, as the three of us were visiting observing “Social Distancing”, I could feel the upcoming changes to the smoking venues that would be available to me as we discussed the new reality of all the Cigar Lounges in Portland, Oregon closing. Fortunately, I was able to get permission to smoke cigars in their parking lot if I need to. We’ll see.

So, my parting thoughts on the Illusione Epernay 10th Anniversary d’Aosta… I can’t wait to smoke it again!
