COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 123: 2.5-Mile Cigar
Truth be told, I had smoked the Illusione Ultra OP No. 9 (Toro) the other day and really enjoyed it… so much so that I had convinced myself that these two; the Cigares Prive San Andres Maduro and the Ultra OP and another (the Cigares Prive Corojo blend) were similar in their collective smoking experiences, so I had to smoke this to vet my thinking.

As the Ultra OP was deeper and richer in tobacco flavors than both the two Cigares Prives (Corojo and Maduro), I wanted to see how the Cigares Prive Maduro stacked up… and I was very happy I tried it. As you would expect, the Maduro blend was just as much of an uptick in body and flavor as the Ultra was to the Cigares Prive line.

Bottom-Line… I like all three of these and I’ll be sure to be smoking more of them!

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 90: 2.5-Mile Cigar
Today was my first time with this Illusione cigar today and I’m glad I was able to make it happen.

Lately, I’ve been becoming more and more enamored with Illusione cigars; the Corojo version of the Cigares Prive series was Love at first puff, so I thought I’d try this San Andres Maduro version and Voilà! Another winner.

This is on the milder side of Maduro cigars as I was discussing with Jeff Martinez at Sellwood Cigar but with the same mouth-feel and smoking experience as it’s Corojo sister… I’m in and I’m a fan… give me more!
