HVC Edición Especial 2015 Toro by HVC Cigars

COVID-19 Day 442
HVC Cigars, HVC Edición Especial 2015, Mexican San Andres, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Aganorsa Leaf, Toro Just by looking at this HVC Edición Especial 2015 in Toro by HVC Cigars, you’d think this was a dark rich cigar… and it was and smokes like one too.

Saving the Day: By way of Ed Ryan (Regional HVC Cigar Representative) of Portland, Oregon fame, I was gifted this sample of the HVC Edición Especial 2015 in Toro. I had tried this a few days ago and was disappointed as I was struggling to discover this cigar with a very snug draw… Thank you Ed!

And… I was rewarded with deep rich creamy earthy tobacco flavors of dark cocoa and coffee. Also filling my senses was a nice soft black pepper spice on the retrohale.

This cigar is a pretty consistent smooth smoking cigar all the way through without too many transitions that I could detect…

I can’t wait for my next HVC Edición Especial 2015. I may have to purchase a few more to have on hand.

COVID-19 Day 427:
Earthy tobacco flavors with Cashews and white pepper with lots of pepper spice on the retrohale from this HVC Edición Especial 2015 Toro by HVC Cigars.

This was my first time with this Toro Vitola having smoked the smaller Corona a while ago… the memory fades… It was so long ago that I think I should purchase another Corona to refresh my memory!

Anyway, I really enjoyed what I was able to get from this HVC Edición Especial 2015 in Toro but I was having issues with the burn and snug draw. I think one of those “poker” things is in my near future. If the Corona checks out, I think I may be stocking up on these… now I just have to decide which Vitola I should have.
