COVID-19 Day 524
Caldwell Cigars, Corona, Dominican Republic, Ecuadorian Habano, Hit and Run, Matt Booth, Robert Caldwell I’m glad I choose this Hit and Run in Corona by Caldwell and Room101 Cigars for my first cigar of the day… Smooth creamy smoke delivering vanilla and graham cracker tobacco flavors… Just like I remembered it to be with a nice soft leather on the retrohale.

At the halfway point (almost an hour)… Through a perfect draw, come more earthy tobacco flavors of the same just ramped up a bit… The leather is coming more forward becoming the dominant flavor and I’m not complaining about that…

I thoroughly enjoyed this Medium-Bodied Hit and Run by Caldwell Cigars a great way to start the day in a “Sophisticated” way.

Smoke time was two hours.

COVID-19 Day 388
Caldwell Cigars, Corona, Dominican Republic, Ecuadorian Habano, Hit and Run, Matt Booth, Robert Caldwell Today was my second adventure with this Hit and Run in Corona (6” x 46) by Caldwell Cigars. I finally got to carve out some secluded time with this cigar of “Aged” and “Mature” vanilla and graham cracker tobacco flavors…

At the start of this beauty, the experience started out light and on the mild side, and then as I transitioned to the second third of this Hit and Run in Corona everything started to open up as the cigar got going. Warm earthy tobacco flavors with cedar came to keep me company for the remainder of the way… I was diggin’ this cigar today now that I had some time to spend with it and appreciate what it had to deliver.

COVID-19 Day 311:

Caldwell Cigars, Corona, Dominican Republic, Ecuadorian Habano, Hit and Run, Matt Booth, Robert Caldwell Being that this is my first experience with this highly regarded cigar, I was expecting something with a little more body to it, but I’ve settled into the first third of this Hit & Run and I’m enjoying its effortless draw delivering soft cedar wood and floral flavors with the cedar continuing to a soft and mild retrohale

This mild to medium-bodied continues to provides plenty of enjoyable creamy smoke

At the last third, almond mascarpone flavors enter the picture riding on easy smooth and creamy smoke. The retrohale echoes the almond flavors with little to no spice.

Overall, an enjoyable “First” cigar of the day!
