Herrera Esteli Toro by Drew Estate Cigars

COVID-19 Day 628:
Drew Estate, Ecuadorian Habano, Herrera Esteli, Nicaragua, Toro, Willy Herrera Creamy smooth and mild beginnings to this delicious Herrera Esteli in Toro by Drew Estate … We’re off and running…

Today is a rare occurrence in that I have been in the habit of taking this cigar out on my morning Cigar Walks… not today… a special treat to be able to sit and focus on what this cigar delivers!

Puffing into the first third through a perfect draw that offers the correct amount of resistance comes buttery leather tobacco flavors that I’m so fond of with this cigar along with a white pepper zing on the retrohale and this cigar is off to the races…

At the halfway point, it’s smooth sailing with familiar tobacco flavors with some sweetness joining the party that I’m perfectly content with while I catch up on some reading.

During the final third, I’m sailing along with this two-hour cigar perfectly content with its tobacco flavors staying pretty constant from this point to the finish.

Yep, this Herrera Esteli in Toro by Drew Estate is one of my First Cigar Loves!

Until next time…

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 101: 3.25-Mile Cigar
By way of All Class BOTL Edward Wong aka @Tight_Game, I was able to enjoy my Cigar Walk with this Herrera Esteli by Drew Estate in Toro.

This cigar had been resting since December 2019… made for a great trek. Smooth and Creamy tobacco… right down to the Nub! I’m a huge fan of the Herrera Esteli Cigars by Drew Estate. This was probably one of my first box purchases when I returned to the Cigar Hobby (February 2018).

Box Worthy!

Drew Estate, Ecuadorian Habano, Herrera Esteli, Nicaragua, Willy HerreraMy first “real” cigar-smoking since my physical mishap… and it was officially my first Sunroof Cigar of 2019.

It was great enjoying this Willy Herrera creation of a cigar while cruising with the Sunroof Open in the morning.

This cigar speaks to me!

Drew Estate, Ecuadorian Habano, Herrera Esteli, Nicaragua, Willy HerreraUnless something changes, this will probably be my last entry for this Wonderful CIGAR. I think this is the first cigar since my return to the cigar hobby that made my eye go wide. This is the perfect “first” cigar of the day; perfectly balanced, full of flavor and not so strong that it will kick your butt.

Entubado goodness never fails. It’s no secret that I’ve come to love the full smoke delivery of this very balanced Drew Estate Hererra Esteli.

Mouthfuls of creamy smoke is how I will remember this cigar. In spite of what I’ve read, I have not picked up any but the very slightest of spice even on the retrohale (made if I rushed and powered through one) – Creamy Mellow

As if I need another reason to LOVE this cigar by Drew Estate Cigars.

I just read that all of the Herrera Estelí cigars at Drew Estate are rolled in the Entubado style where the tobacco in the filler is rolled into tubes inside the binder, that allows better equal distribution of air when drawing on the cigar.

So impressed was I that I purchased a box of the Herrera Estelí Toro back in June. These have been resting since then and they’ve only gotten better.

An immaculate toothy wrapper with a perfect draw and burn, delivering tons of medium bodied smoke of creamy wood, followed by some sweetness and then a bit of pepper spice will accompany you for the rest of the first third, disappearing to resurface again at the end.

This is a Creamy Dreamy cigar that reminds me of the old-school sticks I used to smoke 20-years ago… should I say “Cubanesque”.

I love this!
