Tatuaje Havana VI Nobles (Robusto)

After the last Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles (12/11/2018), I decided that this had made the cut to the Sakamoto TupperDor. After resting for a month, we get to try this larger Robusto size today.

I was looking forward to today’s indulgence with the Tatuaje Havana VI Nobles (Red Label, Robusto). I’ve been enjoying the Nobles little sister Havana VI Angeles and I thought I should try this size.

With a straight-cut, there were no discernible flavors on the cold draw. Once lit, woody leather and hay with pepper coating my tongue through lots of smoke. This is a well-constructed cigar with a perfect draw.

I’m at the halfway point and as expected, the flavors are ramping up with a little more of the Don Pepin pepper spice on the retrohale. Creamy earthy smoke continues the rest of the way.

This isn’t an overly complicated cigar, but it provides a solid performance and experience from one of the best cigar tobacco blending team in the industry, a Pete Johnson and Jaime Garcia at the My Father Cigars factory.

For the correct price, this belongs in the Sakamoto TupperDor.
