The always tried and true cigar for me in the H. Upmann by A.J. Fernandez. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with the performance of this cigar… She always satisfies and certainly didn’t disappoint me on this morning’s Cigar-Walk!
Today’s H. Upmann by A.J. Fernandez brought me home from a 5-Mile plus morning Cigar-Walk. The was the perfect companion with its perfect draw keeping me company on every hill that I had to climb.
It’s no secret to those who know me that this H. Upmann by A.J. Fernandez is one of my “Go-To” cigars when I want something that I can count on and not have to think about it.
What a beautifully constructed cigar with its oily Sumatra wrapper.
Once lit, creamy earthy slightly sweet notes come to me through a perfect draw that produces volumes of smoke and a mild peppery retrohale.
At the halfway point the H. Upmann continues on with a razor-sharp burn providing plenty of creamy smooth smoke output. Chocolate flavors are tying to come thru and I know leather will start to come to me too.
I love this cigar!
What more can I say about one of my favorite smokes… This cigar consistently delivers the Creamy Earthy Tobacco flavors that I seek in this perfect one-hour plus cigar.
Until next time
Today I found myself at 82nd Avenue Tobacco all the way across town (Eastside) where I picked up a few goodies and found a secluded area outside on the back porch where I thoroughly enjoyed my H. Upmann by A.J. Fernandez.
Ahhhhhh, once again… I haven’t had one of these since January? That can’t be correct…
It’s going to be very warm today as I sit outside waiting for my lunch with the Fellas in an hour. This cigar should be perfect… and it was
Creamy smooth coffee and malty milk chocolate greet me with a perfect draw. I’m loving my solitude in my overstuffed chair… taking all that this cigar has to offer undisturbed.
The Upmann by A.J. Fernandez is an affordable closed foot cigar with a respectable amount of smoke and flavors that I’ve come to seek out lately; Chocolate, cream, pepper, baking spice, did I detect some malt?
I did not have to concentrate on this smoke as I found this cigar to be one of the most enjoyable while I was working. There’s nothing too complex, but still, there’s enough to make you go “Wow” toward the end and finish of this wonderful and satisfying smoke.
I bought a five pack, so we’ll see what unfolds.
