H. Upmann in Churchill by A.J. Fernandez and H Upmann Cigars

COVID-19 Day 969
A.J. Fernandez, AJ Fernandez, Ecuadorian Sumatra Seed, Gran Churchill, H Upmann, Nicaraguan Corojo 99 Through an open draw from this exquisite H. Upmann in Churchill by A.J. Fernandez and H Upmann Cigars comes easy smoke that delivers some dry cedar and earthy dark coffee and dry cocoa powder tobacco flavors along with some subtle black pepper… the retrohale is reinforcing those black pepper flavors with no spice.

At the second third, it seems as though some of e underlying tobacco flavors are trying to come out without much success… from the blend profile, I was hoping for more, but at this stage, it’s falling short. The same tobacco flavors are coming forward with a little more oomph but are just falling short leaving me wanting more… the retrohale is still the same smooth black pepper without the spice kick.

Overall, a very enjoyable cigar that I would look forward to smoking again and again. I had to put this down as I reached the 90-minute mark as I had another cigar to smoke. Otherwise, this would have been easily a two-hour cigar.

Smoke Time: 90 Minutes

COVID-19 Day 820:
A.J. Fernandez, AJ Fernandez, Ecuadorian Sumatra Seed, Gran Churchill, H Upmann, Nicaraguan Corojo 99 First time with this Vitola enjoying some “Chill-Time” with the Parental-Units today at the Casa de Parents with this H. Upmann in Churchill by A.J. Fernandez and H Upmann Cigars.

Did I hear someone mention this Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapped beauty yesterday?

I’m sure those Ecuadorian Sumatra tobacco flavors were all there, it’s just that I have a hard time detecting these flavors when I smoke outside… go figure!

Until next time…
