Today is my first time with the Guardian of the Farm Nightwatch Orpheus (Lonsdale).
Once lit, mouthfuls of earthy black pepper with the pepper spice continuing onto the retrohale was what greeted me with my first few puffs.
At the halfway point after about an hour of distracted smoking… I had a bit of tunneling and after a series of relights, the Nightwatch starting to produce a nice stream of earthy smoke with tons of black pepper that still continues onto the retrohale… and ramped up too.
At the last third, everything has ramped up even more… there something that reminds me of almond paste in the evolution of new flavors at this last part… with a retrohale that will make for a long spicy finish.
Not a bad first experience with the Guardian of the Farm Nightwatch. I purchased two of the Orpheus (Lonsdale) and Rambo (Short Robusto) so I can’t wait to let these rest and marinate in the TupperDor for a bit before I try this cigar again.
