Today was my first time with the S.T.K. Miami Zulu Zulu Mas Paz Edition (Black, Ecuadorian Connecticut), so I didn’t know what to expect from this well-packaged and artful looking cigar.
Once lit, earthy tobacco and dominant black pepper flavors are what’s delivered to me on the inaugural puffs of this first time experience with this Gran Habano cigar. The retrohale delivers and reinforces the black pepper flavors without the spice and is very enjoyable.
At the second third, the black pepper flavors are definitely the dominant tobacco flavors… The retrohale acts like it wants to keep up.
At the last third, black pepper tobacco flavors abound with a mild pepper spice on the retrohale.
Overall, not a bad cigar. I know there will be moments that I want to smoke a cigar with this flavor profile. It’s definitely a good cigar to start with or in the morning with your cup of coffee.
