Garagiste in Robusto by Illusione Cigars

COVID-19 Day 797
AGANORSA, Ecuadorian AAA Grade Colorado Habano, Ecuadorian Habano, Illusione Garagiste, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Criollo '98 and Corojo '99, Robusto If you’ve been following along chronologically, you’ll know that I’ve been struggling with a cold the last week or so, and I think I’m at the tail end of it.

That said I chose this tasty Garagiste in Robusto by Illusione Cigars to see if my palate had recovered enough from this malady to be able to discern some of those subtle tobacco flavors that this Garagiste can deliver.

What I discovered was that I’m not 100% yet, but I can feel my sinuses improving… I’ve had this cold for over a week now! It’s time for it to go away!

I sure the next time I spark this, I’ll be feeling much better.

COVID-19 Day 663:
AGANORSA, Ecuadorian AAA Grade Colorado Habano, Ecuadorian Habano, Illusione Garagiste, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Criollo '98 and Corojo '99, Robusto I have been craving an Illusione cigar for quite some time now, so I decided to gather up this “under the radar” (IMHO) Garagiste in Robusto by Illusione Cigars.

I often marvel at the beautiful construction on some of these Illusione blends… this Garagiste by Illusione Cigars is a great example of creating a beautifully smooth wrapper reminiscent of some… should I say “Cuban Classics”?…

Anyway, though an open draw comes volumes of smoke delivering slightly sweet natural earthy tobacco flavors of some vanilla and cedar, and, with a decent black pepper on the retrohale… Marvelous!

At the halfway point, malty leather tobacco flavors join the party with a still decent black pepper spice on the retrohale. The draw is unbelievably open delivering plenty of satisfying smoke. Sakamoto is Happy!

I’m ready to declare that this is a Box-Worthy cigar… time to be on the lookout for these gems!

Until next time…

COVID-19 Day 372:
AGANORSA, Ecuadorian AAA Grade Colorado Habano, Ecuadorian Habano, Illusione Garagiste, Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Criollo '98 and Corojo '99, Robusto If I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again… This Garagiste by Illusione Cigars is a Winner! This was my first time with this Robusto Vitola of the Garagiste after smoking a couple of Toros prior to this.

Today’s smoking experience “Sealed the Deal” toward my committing to adding this to the regular Cigar Rotation. This Garagiste by Illusione Cigars is definitely Box Worthy! I look forward to smoking more of these fine cigars very soon!
