COVID-19 Day 553
Flor de las Antillas, My Father Cigars, Nicaraguan Sun Grown, Nicaragua, Jaime Garcia, Toro What a delight to finally spark a cigar that I know will deliver! This Flor de las Antillas Toro by My Father Cigars hit the spot this morning.

Once lit, his Flor de las Antillas started out immediately and hit all my flavor-checkboxes for what I was looking for this morning… Through a perfect draw, rich toasty tobacco flavors of coffee, milk chocolate, and leather… I’m a happy cigar smoker right now!

Creamy smooth smoke kept me company the rest of the way down to the Finger Burning Nub! I think I’m down to my last two so I better get some more in the TupperDor soon.

COVID-19 Day 448
Flor de las Antillas, My Father Cigars, Nicaraguan Sun Grown Copious amounts of smoke are coming from this Flor de las Antillas Toro by My Father Cigars that delivers a slightly sweet and creamy open draw with the perfect amount of resistance with cedar, leather, and some cocoa tobacco flavors; the cedar continues on thru the retrohale joined by some enjoyable white pepper spices.

The construction of this Flor de las Antillas is beautiful, making way for a razor-sharp burn… No touch-ups needed so far.

My conclusion thus far and I’m guessing no secret for most of you; that this Flor de las Antillas by My Father Cigars is a SOLID! … Box Worthy!

COVID-19 Cigar Walk, Day 421: 3.5-Mile Cigar
Flor de las Antillas, My Father Cigars, Nicaraguan Sun Grown Today was my first time with this Vitola and apparently according to my notes I’ve only smoked the Flor de Las Antillas by My Father Cigars a couple of other times and boy was I impressed on this morning’s Cigar Walk!

Now I know what all the Fellas at Sellwood Cigar are talking about.

I’ll have to hit the cigar lounge so I can focus more on the tobacco flavors and their transitions, but what I was able to detect from this smooth smoky draw were sweet tobacco flavors of cocoa and pepper spice. This cigar behaves very well on this morning walk needing no touch-ups or relights.

I’m very happy with this Flor de las Antillas Toro by My Father Cigars and can’t wait to smoke it again.
